GPR Steering Stabilizer: (Honda Grom 125 2013-2016)
This kit requires the use of 1 1/8" handlebars
Why are Steering Stabilizers/Dampers essential to stunting?
To put it simple - To stabilize the front of your bike.
A lot of our riders do not feel comfortable performing stoppies and wheelies (epecially at higher speeds) without a steering stabilizer.
A steering stabilizer's job is to keep the handlebars from jerking left or right (and out of your hands or turning the bike violently) and instead keeps a laser beam focus straight ahead with minimal effort on your part as you come down hard on those wheelies.
GPR V4 Steering Damper
The GPR V4 Stabilizer was specifically made for sport and road race bikes. GPR has taken their proven fluid control technology and squeezed, trimmed, and lightened this model up to be exactly what the racers want. A large dial with a "no-slip" grip that locks into place with a positive "click" with 20 settings. Approximately 30% lighter than the GPR V1.
Developed extensively in the World Superbike and the AMA Roadracing during the 2007 season with incredible results. The GPR V4 Steering Dampers that are available to the public are the same championship winning steering dampers that GPR’s race teams use. Racers and teams such as; multi- time "Isle of man TT" winner John McGuinness, Ireland's Ryan Farquhar, BSB Team Padgetts Honda, and BSB Team Hawk Kawasaki, Joe Rocket Honda with Adam Ferguson and Josh Brooks. In the AMA paddock you'll find the new GPRV 4 on the Corona Honda, Hooters Suzuki, Grant Matsushima's MPT Suzuki, and dozens of privateers. The list keeps growing every season for a reason. It just works!
