Vortex Steel Rear Sprockets are made from carbon steel and are electro-plated satin black to resist corrosion. Hardened teeth ensure that the sprocket will hold up to many miles without affecting the strength of the sprocket. The street sprockets are also cupped down from the tooth ring to the body to reduce as much weight as possible.
